Braising liquid
- beef broth, or waterEnough to submerge meat
- diced tomatoes1 small can
- sauteed aromatic base
- browned beef chunks
Aromatic base + spices
- bay leaves1
Return the sauteed aromatic base back to the pot. Add the diced tomatoes and then add just enough beef stock (or water) to barely submerge the meat. Add the bay leaf.
